Winter period is often the best time to visit emblematic museums such as the Musée du Louvre or Musée d’Orsay and enjoy the exhibitions without being rushed, or to discover a confidential or unusual place, such as the studio-museums of Musée Delacroix, Brancusi or Bourdelle.
Among the hundred or so theaters in the capital, many Parisian theaters schedule performances in the afternoon (Opéra de Paris, théâtre Edouard VII, Odéon theaters). The Philharmonie de Paris and the Maison de la Radio have an all-day program, including weekends.
